RAM + Job Interview

Wohoooo ... At last I got my new RAM, just got it today from the seller (bought it from eBay). And my new laptop runs fast, smooth, and nice. I can't expect more than this. I got a nice laptop and spent only reasonable amount of money for them. Thanks to Mr. Zed for the help while choosing and driving me around the city looking for this (read previous post). And thanks to my beloved bf who did the effort of putting in the RAM for me. *huggles*

Just had a job interview this morning for Bakers Delight. I kinda like the place and the job they said I'm gonna do. Hopefully I will get the job, but I gotta wait for about a week before I can find out if I get the job or not. *fingers crossed

New Laptop ... La La La!!

At last last week on Friday I decided to go hunt for new laptop. I keep checking the DickSmith website for the availability of the laptop that I like and it seems that stock is getting rare, so I decided to hunt for the new one and sell my old one after. So I called around and go to some stores and every shop said the laptop I want is gone. Even the other one that is one of my choices is also not available. Until when I went to Harvey Norman, this shop has both my choices, so there I spent about an hour deciding. After I checked em out, I decided I did not like the one that I really want at the first place, and decided to go for my second choice. So here I am with my new laptop, brand new Compaq Presario M2217AP.

Come to think about it, it was the right decision to buy first. I was actually thinking to buy new one when I got money from selling old one. But since almost all shops has no more of them and my stupid PC's memory is broken, it is good to have this laptop to use. If not, I will be stuck with no computer. Hehehe.

Btw, I missed a job interview last Wednesday. Got a phone call from my workplace asking for someone to work that afternoon and since I have nothing to do, I decided to take it. Not long after that I got a phone call for a job interview that afternoon and I cannot take it, since I accept the offer to work already. I regret taking the job, but maybe it is not for me anyway.

Going to eat my dinner now ...

Live and Death

I just talked to my best friend today, chatted with her for a bit when I got home from uni this evening. She asked me if I already read her latest post on her blog, which I already did. She talked about her close friend who died about a year ago from Leukemia. When I first found out about this, her death raised a lot of questions and thoughts in my head. Even until now, I still cannot asnwer them.

I was thinking how can someone's so young died that fast. Live is still a long journey for her to go through. I feel really sorry about her, I trully do. She still has a lot to try, a lot of things for her to do, a lot of people she hasn't met. I cannot imagine how do her families feel and think. I cannot imagine how painful it will be for her families and friends. I think we just cannot really guess or know when God will take our soul away. We cannot really guess and know when God will take away someone we love.

I also feel sad for my best friend, she lost me once when I left my country to study here in Perth and now she has to lost another one. She told me how hard it is for her to actually find someone again after I left, she said she was happy to find someone that she can really be close to. And then it was very tragic that she has to lost it so soon. I haven't even met this girl yet, I wish I had a chance to meet her once.

Sometimes I wish I can be back there in my country to help her, to talk to her, and just to accompany her to get through with this. But I just can't. I can only wish for all the best in the world for both of them.

*In memory of Novi. Eventhough I didn't get a chance to know you, I believe you are a wonderful person.

Desperation

I've been spending my weekend last week to watch Desperate Housewives. I had nothing else to do, since I finished watching my CSI. I didn't think that DH will be good, but it turns out to be really good in my opinion. DH is focusing on the lives of people living in a neighbourhood, but why is it unusual? The point of view of this series is unique, you see people's lives from a dead person view. And I kinda like this as the naration also using the voice of the dead peson so it really makes you think that the dead person roaming around, watching people, and talking about them. Some people might not like it, like a friend of mine said "It's too slutty". I honestly thought the same thing at first, but as I watched the first episode I started to think that this is just like a drama series and it has an interesting plot, kinda sad ending though. So there it goes I spent my weekend watching it. I cannot wait till the second season comes out, since the first season ended with lots of questions about what is happening with the people.

Talking about desperation, I kinda get tired nowadays. I started to do lots of things most of the days, getting very busy. Maybe I need more rest than usual, since I am doing lots more things than usual. Tried to play FlyFF yesterday, not very interesting for me, maybe I am bored with online games.

My mum and dad is currently in Turkey, they have a week tour around Turkey. So far they just don't like the food, probably because it's very different with our usual food. Mum told me that people said that Turkey is beautiful, so maybe the scenery will make up for the food after all.

How Business Is Done...

Jack, a smart businessman, talks to his son.

Jack: I want you to marry a girl of my choice
Son : "I will choose my own bride!"
Jack: "But the girl is Bill Gates's daughter."
Son : "Well, in that case..."

Next Jack approaches Bill Gates.

Jack: "I have a husband for your daughter."
Bill Gates: "But my daughter is too young to marry!"
Jack: "But this young man is a vice-president of the World Bank."
Bill Gates: "Ah, in that case..."

Finally Jack goes to see the president of the World Bank.

Jack: "I have a young man to be recommended as a vice-president."
President: "But I already have more vice- presidents than I need!"
Jack: "But this young man is Bill Gates's son-in-law."
President: "Ah, in that case..."

This is how business is done!!

About Women

1. When a girl says she's sad, but she isn't crying, it means she's crying in her heart.

2. When she ignores you after you've done something wrong, it's best to give her some time to cool down before touching her heart with an apology.

3. A girl can't find anything to hate about the guy she loves (which is why it is so hard for her to 'get over him' after the relationship's over).

4. If a girl loves a guy, he will always be on her mind every minute of the day, even though she flirts with other guys.

5. When the guy she likes smiles and stares deep into her eyes, she will melt.

6. A girl likes to hear compliments, but usually is not sure how to react to them.

7. When a particular guy flirts with a girl very often, a girl would start thinking the guy likes her. So if you treat a girl just as a friend, go easy on the smiles and stare.

8. If you don't like a girl who likes you, break it to her gently.

9. If a girl starts avoiding you after you reject her, leave her alone for a while. If you still treat her as a friend, talk to her.

10. Girls enjoy talking about what they feel. Music, poetry, drawings and writing are ways of expressing themselves (which explains why most girls like writing journals).

11. Never tell a girl that she is useless in anyway.

12. Being too serious can turn a girl off.

13. When the guy she likes calls her for the first time, the girl may act uninterested during the call. But as soon as the phone is back on the hook, she will whoop with joy and immediately start telephoning her friends to spread the news.

14. A smile means a lot to a girl.

15. If you like a girl, try making friends with her first. Let her get to know you.

16. If a girl says she can't go out with you because she has to study, leave.

17. But if she still calls you or expect a call from you, stay.

18. Don't try to guess a girl's feelings. Ask her.

19. Hearing the words "I love you" is a great reassurance to a girl that she is beautiful.

20. After a girl falls in love with a guy, she'll wonder why she never noticed him before.

21. If you need tips on how to flirt with a girl, read romance stories.

22. When class pictures come out, a girl would first check who is standing next to her crush before actually looking at herself.

23. A girl's ex-crush will always be in her memory, but the guy she loves now stays in her heart.

24. Girls love having fun!

25. A simple 'Hi' can brighten a girl's day.

26. A girl's best friends usually know best what she is feeling and going through.

27. Girls hate it when a guy pays attention to them just to get close to their 'prettier' friend.

28. Love means devotion, caring and happiness to a girl, in that order.

29. Some girls care about looks, some care about brains, but ALL girls want a guy who will love and care for them.

30. Girls want nothing more than to feel loved.

New template ... AGAIN???

Hell yea ... The more I look at the last template I had, the more I don't like it. Not saying that it is ugly or anything, but it just doesn't feel good for me. It is a big change for me to use green as my color. I don't usually like green, not my least fave color but not my fave either. Anyway I am pretty happy with how it looks now, hopefully people who reads my blog feel comfortable with the new look.

Nothing much happening with me actually. And I am not a kind of person who likes to write, especially diary or blog, so sometimes I feel like writing but I just don't know what to write. I showed my new template to Mr. Z and he said it's nice, but nothing new in it. Yeah I figured so too, so might have to start writing. Mr. Z said it is supposed to be my thoughts, so just write anything here that I am thinking or something I like. Well, let's just give it a try.

First off, it's about my laptop. Here's the story! When I first came to Perth for uni, my dad bought me a laptop for me. I was very happy when I got that laptop. For about 1 or 2 years, this laptop has been a very good friend of mine until I got myself a new PC. So laptop was pretty much abandoned, not being used much. Then my sister was going to China, so dad decided that it would be better to pass the laptop to her, so I did. And after a while, she complained that the laptop is slow. I told her, it's old so what can you expect from it, just have to take good care and don't overload it too much. But she didn't want to listen and asking for a new one. So dad bought her a new one at last. And guess what? The old laptop came back to me, and it wasn't really bad after I cleaned the files and stuff. But I pretty much changed everything it has anyway (RAM, HDD, ROM). It's working good now and still with me here, eventhough I am using my PC more anyway.

So what is the point? Nothing really. Just mumbling and mumbling with no end. But I felt like selling it and buying a new one. And I decided that I will and my boyfriend agrees with me too. So I put some ads up and hoping someone will buy it, then I can use the money, with a bit more money that I saved all these time I was working, to buy a new one. Not a decent one, but just a nice one will do. Been talking to Mr. Z and he suggest me the Compaq Presario v2340AP. It has widescreen, which is nice, and white color. It really looks cute. This one might be the one I will buy when my old one is sold.

Boring boring boring??? Not an interesting topic? What the heck? This is all I can think of at the moment. Anyway it's time to get myself a bit of fun. I'm off to play Gunbound. *Waves
